This is a Wye Delta (also called Star Delta) motor starter. It is used on a 3-phase motor with delta connection to reduce its starting (inrush) current by 70%. If you open your motor's terminal box and can see terminals marked as "U1, V1, W1, U2, V2, W2", this starter will work with it. Starting time can be easily adjusted from 1 second to 30 seconds, depending on your motor's load. Used for drop-in retrofit your motor, no push button or thermal relay is needed on this starter.
