This spindle is designed for use with a Baldor Dental Polishing motor. It fits 3/8" Polishing lathes and has a tapered inside diameter to match the tapered shaft of a Baldor Dental Polishing motor, specifically crafted to accommodate the slight taper of Baldor motor shafts.Spindles are secured via friction fit, pushed onto the motor shaft and lightly tapped with a soft mallet or wood to ensure a secure fit. Removal is simple, using the screw off spindle remover on the motor by unscrewing and turning until the spindle is pushed off the tapered shaft.Crafted from cold rolled steel, these spindles are machined to close tolerances and manufactured in the U.S.A.The spindle features a 3/8" Tapered arbor hole, designed to work on the LEFT Side of Baldor 3/8" shaft motors. The arbor hole is slightly tapered to fit and be held on the Baldor Motor Lathes LEFT Side shaft. Note: Spindle does not include tightening screws.
