The new Kairiki 8 Shimano is the new version of the first Kairiki, still made in Japan, but with in addition a braiding technology called “VT Construction Method”. This PE braid is very strong and smooth, for longer throwing distances. It is available from 0.05 mm to 0.43 mm, with a maximum resistance of 47 kg for the latter. It is ideal for all throwing fisheries, both in fresh water and at sea, since it is very sensitive, smooth and quiet. In addition, in addition to green (Mantis Green) and grey (Steel Grey), it is now available in yellow (very visible) and multicolor (for deep peaches). The Kairiki 8 is finally a very good braid for the Jigging because it has a low water resistance and an elasticity of less than 3%.
