Our 2:1 epoxy resin system is a high strength resin. It is water resistant which makes it perfect for a variety of applications including boats and surfboards. Its’ UV resistance helps reduce yellowing and surface degradation. The ideal working temperature is 75-80 degrees. It is important that the room, resin and surface area are all 75-80 degrees. Fast hardener- Quickest cure with a gel time of 10-15 minutes in 77 degrees Farenheit. Medium hardener- Most popular hardener with a gel time of 20-30 minutes in 77 degrees Farenheit. Slow hardener- Longest working and cure time. Gel time is 35-45 minutes in 77 degrees Farenheit. 1.5 quart kit= 1 quart epoxy and 1 pint hardener .75 gallon kit= ½ gallon epoxy and quart of hardener 1.5 gallon kit= 1 gallon epoxy and ½ gallon hardener 7.5 gallon kit= 5 gallons epoxy and 2.5 gallons hardener
